Joel had always been a bit of a prankster. He loved seeing the looks of surprise, or in some cases, horror, on people’s faces when he pulled off a prank successfully. Not everyone had the same level of enthusiasm or got the same enjoyment from his antics though. Specifically, one of his best friends Felicia, who thought the whole pranking thing was extremely annoying. After having a bucket of water fall off the top of a door onto her head for the third time in one month, she decided enough was enough. Dusting off her grandmother’s old tome of spells, she got to work. Joel was still reveling in the memory of one of his latest pranks when Felicia walked in to talk to him.
“What’s up?” Joel asked, seeing the look of contempt on her face.
“Your pranking has gotten out of control,” she said. “From here on out, I'm placing a curse on you that will punish you for each prank you pull.” Felicia then spoke an incantation she had carefully crafted. As she spoke, a rainbow of light glowed about Joel, utterly bewildering him.
“What did you just do to me?” he asked nervously.
“Something I should have done years ago. If you keep acting like a clown, I’ll know, so you better stop.” Felicia then left in a hurry, annoyed that she had even needed to do this.
Joel looked around and then down at himself. It didn’t seem like anything had changed. He figured Felicia was just trying to scare him because she knew April fools was right around the corner, which was naturally Joel’s favorite holiday. Felicia’s little stunt wasn’t about to stop him, so he geared up for the pranks ahead. Joel had become a master of the holiday, and he always stocked up on whoopee cushions, firecrackers, shaving cream, and all the other typical items used for classic pranks. This year was no different except for the fact that he wanted to go bigger than ever before.
The night before the first, after everyone was asleep, Joel went all around town setting small traps and pranks everywhere and anywhere he could. It took Joel all night, but when he was done, the town was fully booby-trapped with all sorts of April Fool's pranks. Now he just had to sit back and watch the show. The sun began to rise, and before he knew it, people were waking up to start their days. A man named Mark stepped out of his front door and immediately slipped on a banana peel that had been expertly placed in his path. Joel laughed as he watched this unfold. A twinkle of colorful light seemed to float through the air.
A lady named Beatrice sat down for her morning cup of coffee, only to be greeted by a brat of a whoopee cushion sounding off beneath her. Joel giggled with delight as the colorful light began to surround him. A man named Dave thought he was going to be able to leave his house when he walked straight into a line of cling film that had been placed right across his doorway. Joel howled with laughter as the colorful light entered his body and got to work. Joel hadn’t even noticed what was happening to him because he was so distracted by all of the pranks hitting their marks.
Joel's clothes melted away from him and reformed into something more befitting of a clown. A large pair of clown shoes, a bowtie, and a clown nose affixed themselves to his frame. Felicia’s spell wasn’t done yet though. She wanted Joel to really learn his lesson. As more pranks began to terrorize the town, her spell grew in intensity. Joel’s whole body was being re-shaped into a big-titted clown. Gone was Joel’s boyish figure, replaced with a much curvier and eye-catching one.
As the pranks began to wind down, Joel finally realized what had happened. Felicia really had cursed him. Joel tried to remove the clown clothing that now adorned him and found that he couldn’t. It was stuck to him like it had been glued there. Joel tried to cover up with something else and found that he couldn’t do that either. Any clothing he tried to put on exploded into confetti and blew away. Joel was now stuck as a Half-naked clown woman, and Felicia refused to turn him back. Joel didn’t learn his lesson though, in fact, he figured he had nothing left to lose and wanted to see just how far he could push it.
