Archaeology wasn’t exactly the thrilling job that Donovan hoped it would be. In fact, it was usually pretty boring. Slowly brushing away small mounds of dirt from pieces of chipped pottery over the course of several weeks was a far cry from the Indiana Jones-type adventures Donovan had envisioned. At least he was getting paid, although he wished it were more. The college had been pretty stingy with the stipends for this archeological expedition. Maybe he could convince them to up them next month. All of these thoughts were going through Donovan’s head when he broke into the antechamber.

As he was brushing, a small hole began to form underneath him, and sand started to pour into it. Donovan was quick to remove the falling sand before it had a chance to fill in the hole. He peered in and could see that it was actually the corner of a small room. He spent the next few days carefully widening the hole so that it was large enough to fit through. Finally the hole was wide enough, though, and Donovan lowered himself into the ancient room. Looking around, he found that there was only one thing inside. It was a dusty old chest with a cross emblazoned into the wood. The hinges and latch looked hand-forged and extremely old. Doing his best to contain his excitement, Donovan carefully opened the chest to reveal a plain-looking silver chalice.

The chalice was brilliantly shiny in the light of Donovan's flashlight despite its age. He tucked the chalice into a pouch he was carrying and made his way back out of the hole. This would be the find of a century! He would surely have his Stipend increased after this discovery. Donovan wasted no time getting the chalice back to his hotel to begin documentation and correspondence. He set the chalice down on the marble countertop in his room when a funny thought struck him. It might be cool to have a drink out of the chalice. It’s not every day you have the chance to drink from an ancient vessel. Donovan vowed to clean the chalice carefully when he was done so that the oils from his hands and skin would not tarnish the metal.

He poured a bottle of water into the chalice and considered it. The water looked somehow extra appealing in such a cup. Not wasting another moment, he put the chalice to his mouth and drank. The water tasted better than any he had ever drunk. It was as if the chalice was somehow infusing the water with something that made it better. The water went down smooth and cold, refreshing Donovan to his core. He filled the cup again and drank more, the water so nice it was becoming addictive. Donovan drank another and another, the water no longer filling his stomach but rather his chest, although Donovan took no notice of this. The infused water was working its magic all over Donovan’s body. The scruffy archeologist that Donovan used to be was now a beautiful woman whose breasts grew with each swallow of water. Donovan was no longer sure she wanted to share her discovery at all. Maybe she would just have to keep it for herself.
