Finding a new job was always such a chore, but the time had come. The company Brennan had been working for for the past 3 years was going through some financial trouble, and they were making cuts. Despite working there for 3 years, he was still one of the newer employees, so he was one of the first on the chopping block. He had liked the company he had worked for, and they were kind enough to write him a letter of recommendation for wherever he would end up working next. Brennan scrolled through job boards all afternoon on his last day of work. 

He was just about to pack it in for the day and head home with the belongings from his cubicle when he saw a listing that looked too good to be true. It was listed as a secretary position, but the pay was absolutely astronomical. They were paying a 100k per year salary just to be a secretary! Brennan clicked the listing and immediately applied for the position. Maybe this change of jobs wouldn’t be so bad after all, he thought. Brennan packed up his things and headed home, hopeful that he would hear back about the job.

Before he had even made it back to his apartment, he had received an email back telling him that he had gotten the job. They hadn’t even bothered to interview him. Seemed pretty strange, but he was happy to have so quickly secured a new job. He got back to his apartment and fell asleep soundly, knowing that his future was somewhat secure.

Brennan had work the following Monday, which was stated in the email he received. That Monday, he went into his new workplace. It seemed to be a smaller company, and he was surprised they would even be able to pay him what they told him. Brennan had a brief orientation where he met everyone and was shown around the offices. It seemed like a fairly standard work environment for the most part. Brennan was put to work right away after that.

The work was pretty standard secretary work. Fielding calls, organizing paperwork, and going on coffee runs. Everything seemed completely normal for about a week. Then things began to change. Many of the male employees began to hit on Brennan. He was shocked at first. Brennan had never been hit on, really ever, but especially not by men. It was pretty subtle at first, but by the end of week three, they were practically asking for dates. 

What Brennan hadn’t noticed was how much the job had changed him. Sure, he had started as a young man looking for opportunity, but the person who showed up and sat in his seat every day was now clearly a busty woman in tight-fitting clothes. By week four, Brennan had become the boss's personal secretary. The boss asked Brennan to do much of the same work, but there were also some “extracurricular activities” that were requested as well. Brennan opposed these advances at first, but the boss began to look more and more attractive every day. Eventually, she supposed it wouldn't hurt too much to indulge him; the pay was certainly worth it anyhow.
