"Greetings, Human," was the first thing I heard when I awoke, strapped to a metal table. I glanced around, panic in my mind as I pulled at my restraints. "What the hell," I shouted groggily, "Let me go!" My voice caught in my throat as the speaker revealed themselves. It was… an alien, no doubt in my mind. It was very humanoid in shape, save for the enormity of the creature. It stood around 9 feet tall, easily beating me when I was standing but even more so as I lay on the table. "I'm sorry for the scare," it said in a smooth, melodic voice, "But I have a favor I need of you." I kept staring at the real-life extraterrestrial, its body uncanny and devoid of gender. "O-okay," I stammered, realizing it was waiting for a response. "My people have been trying to contact yours for a while now," it said, sitting on a stool, "But so far we have been unsuccessful. Our elders have devised a plan to finally break through." You kept looking at it, unsure where it was going. "We require a conduit," it said, leaning in and unfastening the restraints in an unintimidating manner, "A combination of our people that can experience both cultures, and for this, we require you."
I gulped, unsure of what to say before finally whispering, "What do you need me to do?" "I have been chosen to merge with your body, intertwining our souls to be one. A Human and a T'vaki hybrid, one raised in both environments. The transformation will not be permanent and can be reversed, but I will need your consent to continue." My mouth went dry, thinking of becoming not only partially alien, but also becoming two people in one. "If you deny our request, you will be released back where we picked you up," it stated, "We will simply move on to the next human." My mind was racing, unsure of how to even process such a sudden and important decision, or at least it did until I remembered what life they'd be throwing me back into. I was jobless, loveless, and soon-to-be homeless. If I took the offer, I would be the first human to contact aliens and become a bridge between our two species, not to mention it was reversible. Even if these aliens stole my body, it's not like much would be lost. I looked the thing in the eye and nodded.
It made an indescribable noise that must've been glee as it stood up, pressing a few buttons. "This will not hurt," it said, "In fact, it should be most pleasurable." It placed its hands on me, it's cold skin causing me to flinch in surprise. I watched in fascination as its hands slipped into my skin, a strange feeling overtaking the area. It slid further into me, my skin turning blue around where it was entering. I could feel my mind start to connect with its Memories that were not mine, not even human, and started to flow freely. I could taste things I had never before tasted by man, see colors that were imperceivable, and remember vivid landscapes of alien worlds. The 9-foot thing fully merged with me, my body growing in height until I was the median of the two heights at nearly 7 and a half feet.
We stood, feeling the strange motion of my limbs as they grew longer to fit the proportions. "Thank you, Human," a voice in our head said before it fully conjoined to our mind, making us one. "Our body will be the perfect middle ground," we thought as a single voice. Our chest felt cold as fat became concentrated within it. The clothes we had been wearing, already stretched to their limits by our increased height, finally broke as a pair of breasts emerged and hung freely. Our rear grew as well, packing pounds onto our hips that had grown to accommodate them. We were becoming a woman, or at least the human part of us was. "Of course," we thought, "A woman would be seen as more gentle, a proper ambassador instead of a huge, intimidating man."
We strutted around the ship, getting used to our new body and mind as the layout of the craft came clearly to us. Donning a flowing, blue dress, we entered the bridge to applause from other T'vaki who were congratulating us on our transformation. "I want to personally thank you," the captain said to us, "You don't know how much it means to us." "Oh, but I do, afterall, I am one of yours now," we replied, "Now, let's get to contacting the rest of Humanity."
