The girls on our school’s swim team definitely aren’t known for their breasts… it’s already a rare feature in Japan, but especially so if you’re thin and physically fit. It’s not like it mattered, though – because boys were absolutely banned from peeping on their swim meets, and none of them would ever go to the competitions for fear of being labeled a pervert. The boys from our school, at least.
Without any chests getting in the way, all of them are super fast, and it feels as though they swim for hours on end every day – the lady in charge is a drill sergeant who wants to “inspire” them and take them to nationals. All the sports in our “elite” private high school are competitive – I almost forgot since I was just trying to coast by on good academics by studying every day.
Why do I care about all this? The female members of my family have always been pretty well “endowed,” including my half-sister. Usually someone like that would just avoid swimming like the plague, but our parents have always had a strange obsession with swimming (or just not drowning), and forced her into it just because she was good. It would have happened to myself too, but I got out of it by just barely being able to run fast enough on the track… or so I thought.
I’ve always been the guinea pig for her reality-bending magic ring. Mainly because she couldn’t use it on herself, but that would probably be too boring for her anyways. So, of course, I was forced to join her on the team, as the new girl – one with a pair of breasts that was somehow even larger than hers, and an otherwise-innocent physique that seemed to only force attention to the new rack that I had to carry around 24/7. And I also got a cute face that made all the other girls constantly fawn over me. It turns out that getting to see girls in the shower is no fun when you’re the one getting peeked on all the time.
I was still faster than I thought I’d be – maybe it was because of my smaller body – but it was like there was just one thing stopping me from keeping up with the others. It turns out that “hydrodynamics” really is a thing, and my, uh, boobs, really were slowing me down. When I’m swimming, I try my best to forget about it, and I try to just lose myself in the feeling of the water as it goes through my hair – but I can still feel their weight move with every stroke, and I can feel their pressure on my chest whenever I take a breath. And I can feel the water rushing over them, like it’s trying to force its way past those useless mounds of fat…
And I’m pretty sure that the swimsuit is not supposed to be this tight on the chest, but there’s no way I’m going to be asking for a new one. They probably don’t even make a bigger size, not for just that area. It’s very tiny… I don’t like being short. The whole thing is ridiculous, my whole back is basically naked except for a couple of straps that barely feel like they’re gonna hold. I never felt held back by my swim trunks, yet girls want to have their butts sticking out for some reason… ?
I apparently have a spot in all the competitions. No one even bats an eye at my sister’s second-worst times anymore, because the attention is always gonna be on me. I even have a nickname behind my back… Boobs. Just… Boobs. It's not really supposed to be an insult… more like they view me as too cute and helpless to be taken seriously. I haven’t let any of this stuff get to me, but it’s been a few months already, and as my lovely high school life goes on, it feels less like an experiment, and more like a reality that I really could have been stuck with, if only I had been born a little bit differently…
…Come to think of it, I haven’t seen any sign of that ring for a suspiciously long time now…..!!
