It had been five months since the incident aboard Spaceflight AA013. During that flight, a freak phenomena of unknown origin struck the CAC-12, resulting in the transformation of each passenger into the opposite sex. Upon their arrival back on Earth, the spaceplane and each of its passengers were placed under quarantine until each passenger was cleared medically, they could be interviewed individually, and the black box recordings could be examined. In all that time, no viable explanation could be found to explain each of their transformations. Knowing the passengers, pilots, and staff couldn’t be detained forever, they were reintegrated into society under modified or changed identities.

Blair Lynch had been the oldest individual on that fateful flight, and in many ways had been the person to undergo the most dramatic transformation. Blair had previously been a 98 year old man, a former CEO, and one of the richest people to ever live. Decades ago, his originally-modest energy brokerage firm, Cubane Energy, successfully absorbed the very first company to ever produce a net positive in fusion-based power. He quickly capitalized on the breakthrough to make himself, the shareholders, and those behind the technology incredibly wealthy. The dream of nearly limitless, clean power had come true, and the newly-rebranded Cubane Fusion quickly overtook the biggest energy companies in the United States with this revolution in power. Most of this was thanks to Blair’s keen and ruthless business acumen, his understanding of the technology itself, and his unmatched charisma both in the public and in a hostile boardroom. It seemed there was no ending in sight for the young CEO, but as they say, there’s always a bigger fish.

Despite all the successes he had earned as a young businessman in his early thirties, the size of the company quickly attracted outside interference from the more traditional energy companies. Before he knew it, he had been forced to give up his position as CEO and leave Cubane Fusion after only seven years, thanks to a hostile takeover coordinated by several of these other companies working together. They targeted Cubane Fusion’s shareholders with promises of even greater riches under more “traditional leadership”, forcing Blair and his Board of Directors out within a matter of months. Blair and the former Directors fought the takeover in court, but there was little they could do against their combined might, even with all their money. The other energy companies had even put up numerous roadblocks after the acquisition, using it to prevent him from re-entering the energy business in any way, shape, or form. All of this devastated Blair on both a personal and emotional level, causing him to push those around himself away.

Thus, Blair Lynch became somewhat of a recluse in the business world, feeling betrayed by the company’s shareholders and the United States government in general. Instead of trying to enter another field, he spent many of the following decades using his wealth to travel the world, visiting exotic places, investing in new, experimental technology, and donating billions to charities across the planet. He had decided to take a similar life path to Andrew Carnegie, making a good name for himself with his vast fortune rather than hoard it all for himself. Despite his unmatched charisma, Blair never married or even established a relationship in his more youthful days, something he came to deeply regret years later. Still, even as he advanced in age, he tried to treat all those around him with the utmost care and respect, even as his physical state began to slowly degrade. On Spaceflight AA013, Blair would find a new, fresh lease on life once again, quickly adjusting to his new situation with ease and unexpected, newfound grace.

Blair had not only been transformed into a woman during the flight, but had also been rejuvenated, gaining back the youth he had lost all those years ago. She, formerly a he, had gained a new, toned body, with balanced, firm DD-cup breasts, a thin waist, and a balanced backside that complemented her perfect legs. She had even gained back her lost height, practically towering over other women and most men at 6’2”. According to the numerous doctors that examined her, she had de-aged considerably, now appearing to be between her late thirties and early forties rather than her ancient nineties. The only remaining sign of her previous, older age was her silver hair and some soft wrinkles between her green eyes. Though Blair had never been particularly religious, she viewed this as a “second chance” of sorts, a chance to use her newfound youth and mature beauty to regain what was rightfully hers. After clearing her information with the investigators and her “updated” identity with the government itself, she immediately set out to begin fighting. Nothing would stop her in her quest this time. Using her youth and famous charisma to begin working her way back into the energy business. The barriers put in place by her old rivals were designed to either expire after 50 or 60 years, or to last the duration of her lifetime. Thanks to her change of status following the “Flight Incident”, many of these barriers had become null and void, allowing her to re-enter the energy industry. Most of those running things now didn’t expect a silver-haired, charismatic woman like Lynch to show up out of nowhere, effortlessly dominating boardrooms, negotiations, and conferences with her decades of experience. This came with some resistance, of course, but most of her “enemies'' were either dead, or rotting away in their posh, overpriced houses. She quickly gained a new reputation, quickly becoming known as “The Silver Fox”.

After as little as three years, Blair Lynch had seemingly accomplished the impossible: she successfully regained her previous position as CEO of Cubane Fusion, having successfully snatched it back from those who had taken it from her. Though this had been accomplished mostly through her innate skills, she had come to rely heavily on another person during the process. A younger, 35-year old energy broker, now the CFO of Cubane Energy, had become very close to Blair in that time. His name was Keaton Dawson, and Blair had been secretly harboring unique… feelings for him for quite a while. Remembering the mistakes she had made as her past, male self, she decided to take further advantage of her new lease on life, she eventually began to date Keaton. Though Blair had resisted her carnal urges for years, she finally released years of pent-up lust on the younger man, becoming borderline animalistic in the bedroom with her perfect man. She ravaged him, showing Keaton she could be just as effective in bed as she was in business.

It didn’t take long for the two of them to get married afterwards, traveling to Armstrong City on the Moon for a massive, expensive ceremony. The two, now inseparable, had conquered everything the world could throw at them, from old rivals, new rivals, and all the cutthroats one could imagine, they had been beaten. Now, the two embarked on their latest adventure, one neither of them had initially expected: parenthood. While in Armstrong City, Blair had discovered that, even after using protection, she had gotten unexpectedly pregnant during her ravenous night. Rather than be shocked or surprised by this, she quickly accepted the fact that she was a soon-to-be mother, grinning from ear-to-ear as her husband held her tightly on their way back to Earth. Nine months later, she was elated to find she had given birth to a bouncing baby boy named Callum.

Twenty-six years later, Blair and her husband had handed over the reigns of the company over to Callum, his two brothers, and their younger sister. The husband and wife had put all the stepping stones in place to ensure Cubane Fusion could no longer be outmaneuvered by greedy shareholders, corrupt government officials, or any other kinds of outside interference. The couple, now approaching their late sixties, decided to go back to space. They wanted to travel to the first, fully-established city on Mars, investing portions of their fortune into their quickly-developing terraforming efforts. After all, Blair had been given a new lease on life. Why couldn’t a planet like Mars get the same chance?

As the couple soared through the atmosphere on a younger cousin of the older CAC-12s, it brought back memories of Blair’s original trip aboard Spaceflight AA013 all those years ago. Nothing like that Incident had ever happened again since that day, and as she watched the very same craters from decades ago, now even more developed, she couldn’t help but begin to cry. It all still seemed like a dream to her, everything that had happened since that day, and as her husband comforted her, wiping away her tears of happiness.

She didn’t know if there was a God or some kind of aliens that had been watching over her that day. All she knew was that she was thankful for this new life she had been given.
