My seventy-forth caption.
A man working in an antiques shop finds an old "genie's lamp" teapot, and thinks nothing of it when he begins cleaning it. When it turns out there is an actual, devious genie inside of it who will grant three wishes, he rushes into them with… predictable results.
(I admit, this was mostly an excuse to finally add a snake girl to my roster of people transformed into fantasy creatures/races. Sue me. :3)

“I can’t believe this is actually real.” I thought to myself, tears flowing down my face as I sat on the bed in my new, monstrous form.
Less than an hour ago, I had been a normal man, working a minimum wage job at an old antique shop. Even if the paychecks weren’t anything to write home about, you had been using the money to take classes on the side, hoping to improve your future job prospects. One day, a whole new load of antiques arrived, auctioned off from the estate of some old collector who had been a little famous long ago. Among them were some nice tiffany lamps, a few sets of dining utensils, some paintings, and other various items your boss had purchased during the auction. He ordered you to clean them up before he went around, putting price tags on everything himself. You grumbled, knowing how long that would take you to do for every single item, of which there were many. You sighed, getting to work.
After spending a few hours wiping the dust off of and polishing all these items, you had moved on to the more… random things. One of them was a stereotypical “genie’s lamp” teapot, which seemed to be brass or, possibly, even gold. Feeling amused for a brief moment, you picked it up and began rubbing it, only to be shocked as a cloud of wispy smoke erupted from the lamp, fully enveloping you as a feminine form began to take shape. To your utter shock, it was a real, honest-to-God genie! She was beautiful too, and thick as well.
“Ahh… it has been quite some time since someone has released me from my lamp.” She spoke in a sultry voice, stretching her arms above her head before looking deep into my eyes. “I see the old man has finally passed… good. You stand before Quintha, mortal.”
“Wow, this is amazing!” I exclaimed, getting her to smile as she “leaned” forward, using her hands to keep her head up. “You’re actually a genie! I never would have imagined in a million years that something like this was possible! Is… is it true I get three wishes?”
“Indeed it is.” She nodded, cocking one of her eyebrows. “But know this… you must say them now or forever lose your chance. I can only spend a limited amount of time outside of my lamp at any given time, and it is quickly counting down. Choose now, mortal.”
My mind suddenly began to race at a million miles an hour, struggling to think of three possible wishes to make before my time ran out. Eventually, I settled on the three I would make, trying to word them as best I could. I had heard of the Monkey’s Paw, after all.
“In that case, I wish for… infinite wealth, health, and beauty!” I finally spoke up, trying and failing to put my thoughts into more specific wording. I immediately knew something was wrong when the genie smirked at me with a devious look in her eyes, glowing with energy as she pushed her finger into my chest. “Your wishes… are granted! I hope you enjoy yourself, my new little serpent friend. Goodbye.”
Just as I was about to open my mouth and question her last few words, she disappeared as the smoke surrounded me, blinding me as everything began to feel weird. As the smoke faded away, I suddenly found myself sitting in a lavish bedroom. All around me were custom pieces of furniture, all hand-made with exotic woods and marble tops. Sunlight poured in from large windows, easily felt on my skin. Looking down at myself, I immediately noticed I now had two large breasts hanging off my chest, barely hidden by a small bra! As if that shock hadn’t been enough, I immediately noticed my legs had been replaced by a massive snake tail, which sat lazily around me on the side of the bed. My new, soft skin met these scales, creating a clear line of distinction between “myself” and my new snake half.
Holding my right hand to my belly, I began to feel a flood of emotions roll over me. I was equal parts shell shocked, confused, and scared as a blush could be felt on my face, tears quickly running over it. I mentally cursed myself for being so dumb, allowing this to happen. I should have been more specific, done more to make sure this didn’t happen, but now I was stuck like this, in this new body and place. As I began to sob, I felt my lower half tense up, almost as if it was about to begin moving on its own. Sucking up the ball that had formed in the back of my throat, I forced myself to focus. I had to get control of myself. I needed help, but I had to find it first. I focused on my lower half, knowing I’d need it to move around. Thinking of them as “legs” did nothing at all, but as I thought about how a snake moved, I suddenly began to get some voluntary movement out of my tail, able to move every part of it with clear precision.
Now that I could move around, I pulled myself out of bed, immediately able to feel the warmth of the hardwood floors against my new scales. It felt great to me, no doubt due to the obvious change in physiology. I began opening the drawers, finding all manner of custom-made clothes inside. Though it took some time to wrap my head around my new feminine upper half, I eventually got myself into a nice, extra-long knitted sweater, along with a bra and what I could only guess were my equivalent of panties, hiding my lower parts. They appeared to be something between a woman’s unmentionables and my scales, leaving me slightly confused. In addition, I finally got a good look at myself in the mirror, seeing a beautiful, if unfamiliar, face looking back at me. I was stunning, with red eyes, porcelain skin, and majestic gray hair. Looking down at the dresser, I noticed several pictures sitting there, with me and a human man.
“I’m… married?!” I questioned out loud, picking up what was obviously a wedding photo. The man had jet black hair, a perfect goatee, and one of the biggest smiles I had ever seen. It was surreal to see it, me, in a huge white wedding dress, standing next to this man.
Before I could wonder about anything else, I heard a door open somewhere else in this house. I put the photo down, able to hear the approaching footsteps as clear as day as the man in the photo walked in and smiled, wearing a somewhat futuristic business suit.
“Oh, I see you’re finally feeling better!” He greeted, walking over and planting a kiss on my lips. Though I wanted to hesitate, I suddenly found myself falling into this new role quite effortlessly, giving him a long hug. “Geez Craya, I wasn’t gone that long. You missed me?”
“I… suppose you could say that.” I spoke in a lower, more… charged voice. Without even thinking about it, I found myself wrapping my new tail around him, as if it was some kind of instinct I had my whole life. “You’re so warm. Wanna… get into bed with me, sweetie?”
“Boy, you are certainly feeling better.” He joked, loosening his tie with one hand. “Let me get this suit off first. Then I’ll… warm you up.”
