If it wasn't obvious, this is me coming out as trans. If you don't want to read a lot, I BEG you to at least go down and read the TL;DR.

Over the past 4-5 years, I have significantly changed as a person. I mean, if you compare my oldest captions to my newest stuff, you would probably have no clue they're written by the same person. I have been reading captions for over 10 years now. TG captions, for me, have always been an escape from worrying about gender dysphoria in real life. By viewing my transition desires as nothing more than a fetish, I was able to more easily deal with the dysphoria associated with it. Obviously, I can't speak for everyone. HOWEVER. If you relate to my sentiment, I highly encourage you to reconsider your relationship with gender. For example, if you could press a button that would instantly and harmlessly turn you into a woman while otherwise keeping your life the same, but it breaks as pressed, would you still press it? If so, you are probably trans. Consider talking to someone about it.

TL;DR: pleasepleasepleaseplease TRY TO UNDERSTAND GENDER at a deeper level than "ooh i want to fuck women. or be woman?" i get it. me too. however if you don’t look within yourself at least once in a while you might end up just. NOT REALIZING that you were trans for years. wasted years are my biggest regret, don’t let them be yours.
